First day of Kayaking 1-Star Course...
Was supposed to meet up with Hui Ting and Yo Yo at 8.10am at CCK MRT, yes yes as usual, I'm >.<, so sorry though I wasn't the latest, but still sorry ar. Surprised to see so many OB peeps meeting at CCK MRT too, lolx. Finally when all turned up, we took the MRT and headed off for Sembawang. Haix, I was being anti-social bahx, totally got nothing to talk to them lehx, all talking about the outing which I din't go, so, just listen lo, yupx, SPEAK UP LA! =.=""""
Reached Sembawang, saw some unfamiliar as well as familiar faces, lolx, how to spot them? (those all wearing the very bright GREEN shirt sure is OB peeps, hahas) After that went to Mac cause many din't take their breakfast and we were early. Sat down and waited for them to finish eating, Jocelyn and me din't eat, wasn't hungry. Then, Racheal came in to hurry us because the 'bus' coming liaox ma. Make our way to the pick-up point. OMG~ What a 'bus', hahas, it was actually a van, lolx, thus we needed 2 trips to bring all of us there (provided we were squeezed like sardines, lolx).
OH, I din't know our course was held at SAFYC until we were approaching and saw the sign, hmmm, never been there too. Got off the 'bus' and went in, wah, so many boats, as in, those white big engine ships, yupx, for those rich people to own it, yupx. They were like, faster go find your godma and goddad here, hahas. Put our things down and changed to shoes. Went down to the toilet, T.T, the shower cubicles don't have doors de, only curtain T.T, that reminds me of my Pri 5 camp at Sentosa, lolx, same same, but of cause the facilities here much better, got cold and hot water wor, so big area to bathe oso, good good =D Went up and put on Sun Tan Lotion, trying to clear away my ugly tan lines >.<. Eh, I shared the bottles, hahas, all squeezed so much, mayonise ar, haha.
After that we headed down to the grass patch and wait for the instructors. The instructors, woo, quite cool huh, especially the Rosita, lolx, so man yet a gal, so sporty, yupx. We had a brief introduction of Kayaking and also learnt the parts of the Kayak, paddle and the PFD. Next, we put on our PFD, went to the beach, hold hands and walked into the water, wooo, so cold ar~ Then we had to swim to the white flag at about 50m away, ahhh, swim very slowly, lolx, drank alot of water la, yeeee, lolx. Finally reached then climbed up. Instructor asked us to do a confident jump, yupx, JUMP! AH, salt water in my nose, so 'nan shou' lolx, but lucky managed to clear it, lolx. Aiyo, had to swim back, so tired, lolx.
Back and then moved our Kayaks and paddles to the beach. Launched, partner with Yo Yo, guess what number we got? NUMBER 4! Lolx, unlucky aar, hahaha. Woo, its been so long since I Kayaked, hmmm, ok la, 1+ yr. I sat at the back again, like sitting at the back cause can over see everything, yupx. Row here row there, eh, still need 'yi bei bei' then can start rowing, lolx, that Yo Yo, lolx. Coordination not to bad la, starting only ma, ya. Did some Raft Up, row here row there, 360 degrees. Haix, we din't managed to do within 6 strokes, stupid current, lolx, maybe also we don't have enough strength bahx, lolx. After not long, we row back, benched up and carry our Kayaks back to grass patch. Arranged our paddles, Kayaks and PFD nicely and debriefed. Time just past so fast, its lunchtime liaox.
Washed up and went up to room to take wallet and phone. Man, lunch was bad bahx, no where to eat only the restaurant so 'bo bian'. Ordered the cheapest which were only choice of Mee Goreng, Hor Fan and Fried Rice, well, also not so cheap, its 6 bucks man, haix, wanted to eat rice so ordered Fried Rice. I swear 2moro I will get my own lunch, lol. While waiting, we just sat on the floor and slacked lo. Then Sly said got gym there so went to take a look, not bad eh, hahas, but never go in, I lazy la, hahas. Finally it was time, we all went up to the restaurant to see the food ready anot. Auntie don't let us sit at the restaurant because we were all dranched, so bad right, lucky downstairs still have chairs and tables set up liaox, if not we really have to sit on the floor to eat arhhh. HUNGRY! Fried Rice wasn't that bad but it was just too expensive :X Then went back room to put things, wah, they switched on air-con so asked Yo Yo to help us keep stuff as shes already inside le ma.
Gone back down to grass patch, briefed and head off to the sea, wheres my sea rowing for Dragon Boat T.T I sat in-front this time while Yo Yo sat at the back. Rowed here and there and Raft Up. Learnt how to do the 'J-Draw'and 'Classical Move'. 'Piang', the 'Classical Move' is so nice and graceful when the instructors demonstrates to us, but ar, when I was doing it, its just so awful la, cant do properly, lolx. Practiced 2gether, eh, I'm so lousy sia T.T but don't know why when we showed the 2 moves to instructor, he passed us, hahaha =.=". Practice somemore than row back white flag there to Raft Up. Woo, CAPSIZE TIME, lolx. See other people capsize like so easy huh, lolx. One by one go, suddenly so scare, lolx, we were the last few so broke Raft and started playing outselves, splashed here and there, hahas, so fun, lolx. Eh, finally our turn, hmmm, 1. Check for incoming traffic 2. 3 metres clearance 3. Check for depth, then we shake shake shake, arhhh, 3 times then we shake so many time because so scare la, hahahs, I kept "wait wait wait!" Lolx. Then, WENT DOWN, wah, shiok, lolx, only managed to tapped 3 times using 1 hand nia, but overall ok la, 2moro I want to do again =DDD
Beached up and carried the Kayaks for wash. All done then go toilet and washed up abit too, shoe inside got so many sand, OH, did I mentioned, we wore sports shoes into the water for those w/o sandals, T.T, wet wet liaox >.< After that went up to take our stuff and went toilet to bath. Waited for 2nd round cause not enough cubicles to bathe le. While waiting, washed my dirty shoeeee. Finally my time to bathe, woooo, so relaxed, so 'SHUANG', lolx =.=" After that went out to wait for the others. We decided to walk out together to take bus instead of taking the free transport because there wasn't enough space to accomodate all of us liaox, one for all all for mi =D.
Walked and chatsss, ^-^ Man, we waited so long for the bus sia, I think 4 or 5 buses already came le except for the one we were waiting for T.T Then we decided to take the other once and alight at Yishun Mrt instead. Oh, surprised that it stopped nearby Sembawang MRT too. Alighted and walked to the MRT. They took quite long to decide where to eat, Sun Plaza or Lot 1, both places are fine for me so I waited for them to decide, finally, they decided to go Lot 1 as many of us are staying near there, but eh, 'ke lian' de Jia Shan, stay at Yishun but had to go all the way to CCK, very bad sia. Rested on the MRT, so tired, lolx.
Alighted at CCK then went level 3 de Foodcourt to eat, don't really like that Foodcourt cause nothing much there,quite expensive also, but nvm, I bought Honey Dew Sago XD, this time not bubbletea, hahas, its the actual 'tian pin'. Man, the guys can really eat, lolx. Sat for quite long then decided to went down basement to buy bubbletea before going off. I never buy, lolx, cause I just took cold stuff le ma, ya, then we head back up to level 1 and then walked to MRT there to send Jia Shan and Jocelyn off first before Sly and me went the other way. Eh, pretty lame ar OBs, hahas, pretended to 'just met' each other, lolx, cause we got left the Foodcourt in a couple of groups ma, ya, pretty lame, still ask "where did you all went?" "eh? Kayaking ar? Where de? Why never see you all?", hahas, can't 'tahan' liaox so we stopped playing and parted. Eh, saw Xin Yan while exiting Lot 1, lolx, nope, I never go Vick's kampong today :D. Sent Jia Shan and Jocelyn off and we went our way. Oh, Sly bought the bubbletea, hahaha, my favourite flavour, lolx, HONEYDEW SAGO! Hahas, but I had enough that night liaox if not I sure drink alot from you, muahahahaha. Parted at the traffic light then I went dashing again for home. Haha, my walking speed is just so fast, sorry, got used to it liaox XD
Reached home, dumped my clothes and used computer. So tired lo, going to sleep soon liaox. More Kayaking 2moro =D Nite nite nite nite nite allll~
