Hi ther, im back with another post after quite a while =X.
Just came back from UbinSurvivor this afternoon and i can say, ITS FUN!!! Hehex. It was tiring though, ya, shoulders are aching from it, not legs, o.o, how unbelivable huh, lol~ I was almost fainting on the way back home as i have to help Siti carry back her tent as she had forgotten to take back from BB while alighting at Bugis. Unfortunately, despite the fact that i was quite weak to carry my own things already maybe coz i was getting quite sick, i was the only one who can help her, bo bian, i tahan all the way from the coffeeshop after buyin lunch for my dad den back home, uhhh, almost fainted halfway, lol~
Lets talk about the UbinSurvivor from the start....
It started on yesterday. I woke up real early to go to Bukit Panjang to Danial and Siti at 6.30+am to have a free ride by Danial's mum to Changi Village jetty coz i wasnt sure how to get there. His mum was nice to make us breakfast which comes along wif a can of greentea as well =D, really nice of her, and it was my best homemade breakfast so far for this couple of years, lolx, bread with ham n magarine, good enuf to make a good breakfast =DDD. We reached Changi Village jetty at around 8+am. We were the first to reach there wor. Then we met up wif Gary and Tracy too, sat at the Kopitiam n some if them have their breakfast. Hahas, Gary was so kiasu la =X, he quickly called BB to tell him that our group reached e jetty liaox coz we were there early ma (meeting time was 9am). We were hoping to earn some scores for the group as the organisors of the UbinSurvivor says that "it HINTS to be PUNCTUAL". lolx. Then BB told him e whole team reached liao den call him back as at that time Wan Leng haven reached yet. =.=" Gary faster call Wan Leng n ask wher she was, lolx, he quickly called back to BB when Wan Leng reached, haha, kiasu team member =X. lolx.
Oh, btw, we were the ACE Com Team while there were also YV Com Team and Participant Team =D.
After which, we went to the jetty and meet up with the others. Our team facilitator was Vick, happy happy, lol. After a briefing, we put all our wallets and fones into that given bagpack and rushed down to get on our boat as the rest of the team wasnt briefed by their TF yet, lolx, KIASU team, haha! Finally, we got on the boat =D.
Reached Ubin after 15 mins? I wasnt tracking the time, guess i was juz viewing the scenery or, was i day dreaming? lol~ At there, we went to take map of the island den started our Survivor journey! We solved the first clue which was at the Volunteer Hub, hehex, then at there we also asked the Management ppl to see if they can hlp us solve other clues. Well, I dun tink will write all the details of the Journey here coz its long, lolx. I can say that its a really long journey walking with our bagpacks on (with 2 bottles of 1.5litres water!). Im really happy to see the team so united. Even we had some tough time along the way, there is always some1 to giv encouragement to the team. I tink we have to thanks Vick for some reflections he gave us along the way too, i tink it will helps us along the way to completing our ACE Camp and make it a big success =D. I tink the Journey we had before lunch time was almost 8k or more? Hmmm, but i certainly dun feel that i had walked so long coz i have company =D.
During lunchtime, each team have to sell 3 coconuts at the drink stall. Though YV Com Team was the first to arrive there to sell those coconuts, we were still the first to finish selling and have our long-awaiting lunch, wahahhaha =D. While eating, we had to solve a problem given by the organisor, haix, so tough seh, lolx. Everyone was thinkin till i tink we were goin mad man, lolx. Finally i took the paper n solve on my own =X, nid to concentrate ma. Piang! Solved it lo den told the team den faster call Xue Peng over to tell her. T.T Correct for the 1st few steps but the rest wrong leh T.T, but Tracy was fast enough to notice the mistake n WE FINALLY SOLVED IT. Good Job! =DDD Quickly set off after lunch, leaving the 2 teams behind, we are STILL the first =D. Great determination we have =DDD.
We continued our Journey to the other clues. We climbed up a hill, its tough but, the view was SUPER NICE LO! We took a grp picture ther too and we also shouted to hear our echos, haha. After that we went to the Village Stage to complete a task. We were supposed to perform on the stage and ask 3 person to grade for us de, but the stage's owner was slpin ther so we cant get in. Thus, we performed in front of the stage(singing SVC song) and asked 3 scouts to grade for us. We got 25/30 =D. Continued to trek~ Rested at a hut to complete our Milionaire Qns, lolx, i dint noe most of it but the others found it really easy T.T, maybe coz i am the youngest ther, lolx. Gary was brainstorming n using up all his brain juice to solve the Einsten Puzzle, man, i took a look at it and tried to solve, its real hard man! YEA! We finished the Milionaire Qns, hehex, got 300pts =D. We happily leave the hut and make our way to the campsite ^-^. Aiyo, Tracy gana cut her leg by the broken beer bottle that we collected for points, it was quite deep sia, scary~ BB quickly asked her lie down on e ground and clean the wound. After that BB suggested the rest of us carry the stuff and go back campsite 1st to inform the organisors there.
Reached campsite den we told See Ming and e other guy what happened den that guy ran to find Tracy they all wif the Safety Kit. Gary was asking See Ming to say the "Magic phrase" which was "you are the 1st team to ARRIVE", lolx, think what, haha =D. And yes, See Ming did say that after the request, haha, den we put down our bags after findin a gd campsite to put our tents. Aiya, gana hit by the stick-tink which was used to hold up the tent by Danial T.T, hurts man, lolx, and it was on my head ar, T.T, yes, it let mi "hui wei" dat time when i was gana hit by the racket, thanx ar, lol~ We rested awhile, bought some drinks n continue wif the game, lolx. Gary was all the way in his tent tryin to solve the Einstein Puzzle, lolx. We made a "A" wif cans to represent our Team. After that we had to make a 3 level human paramide, eheh, my 1st time doin it in my whole life man, scary, lolx, I was on the 2nd level while Danial and Gary on the 1st. Siti was on the 3rd siting on my back, somehow as she was siting i was so scare she will break my back, lolx, not coz the weight la, dunno how to say, lolx. Yesh! We stayed for 10 seconds and succide! =DDD. Then, we slacked n waited for other grps to arrive.
Tracy and me was asked to help to wrapped up the marignated fishes, yups, they do look delicious and expensive too, all done by See Ming, wahh, hes great eh. After tha notin to do 1, yesh, thanx Xue Peng for saving mi from one trick, lolx, dunno wat slap 1, lolx, i blur blur dunno de lo, lucky got her around, haha, if not i gana slapped liaox >.<. Then, i went to help out to start fire 2gather wif Xue Peng and You Shen, woo hoo, i was juz helpin abit la, dunno much about dis stuff ma, lolx. =D Finally after some time, we got the charcoal heated up and we were ready to cook, woo hoooo~ After cooking for a long while, i escaped to eat abit, hehehex, hungry ma, den came back to hlp them light the place up usin torchlight lo, lolx, slacking abit, lolx. My first ever BBQ wif SVC Family, i love it, really hapii~ =D and yesh, we finished up all e food, lolx. After that, we rested abit den Wan Leng and mi went inside our tent to get ready for bed, lol. Others were out ther chattin stil, lolx, Yin Fong came in after a while to slp too. Man, slpin in there was really terrible, i mean, the time was super slow sia, dunno y lehx, lolx. We 10+pm slept den woke up only 11+pm nia, lolx. It Rained!!!!!!! Ahhhh! All of our tents were flooded la, lolx, but i tink ours was not so bad, haha. After the rain got smaller, Wan Leng and me juz lie back to slp despite the tent was wet lo, lolx, heck la, hahahaha~ Woke up the next morning wif Tracy's voice so LOUD "QI LAI LE, 6.30am LIAOX!!!" a few times, lolx, i tink many was "irritated" by her loud voice, hahaha~ Woke up, went washrm, changed, kept our stuff den fold our tents. After that did abit of area cleaning lo. Got ready and we made our way back to jetty. It wasnt a short journey lo, lolx, it was about 30 mins walk out to jetty i tink or that what i felt, lolx. Finaallllllyyyyy, we reached jetty, hehex, i was the 1st few to reach, lolx, sat ther n waited for the others. They came n stopped at the entrance so we went over, OH, Photos Taking, lolx. Eh, and who help us take our Photos? It was a Policeman who just came to the island lo, haha, how daring of them, lolx. We carried our tinks, took the boat and went back SINGAPORE! lolx. End of UbinSURVIVOR~ Great job n kudos to the organisors! I really dint expect it to be so fun and well-planned, haix "JIANG HAI SHI LAO DE LA" hahahahaha~ .......... to continue~~~~ We went to the kopitiam to have our breakfast~ Took a bus to Tenah Merah Mrt station and took Mrt home.... Almost dropped my wallet on bus, almost got nagged for "forgetting" to take my wallet though i dint forgot but it dropped out of my bag~ yayaya SLPY~ wooooooo~ woooooo~ woo~ ..
